Sales Development

The Sales Development role is for someone new to sales and/or logistics. This entry level role will learn from the best on the proper ways to prospect, build a pipeline, introduce yourself and the company to a prospect and close opportunities. This role has an competitive starting salary with an immediate opportunity to earn commission on new business. The role’s core focus is on identifying and introducing Third Coast to prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Generate & prospect leads, identify decision makers, and cold calling

  • Regularly hit call targets

  • Manage a pipeline of prospects within specific target industries and markets

  • Utilize social media to brand yourself and the company

  • Learn the industry while mastering your sales skills

  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • No previous logistics or sales experience required

  • Understanding of Social Media to brand yourself

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit

  • Willing to learn and apply developed skills

  • A “Never Give Up” attitude is a must

  • Organized and have ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment

  • Excellent communication skills
